Hurt Wedding

This warm September wedding took place at Sorelle Event Venue down in the meadow at Deer Creek near Thomas, Oklahoma. Sorelle is a short drive from Weatherford or Thomas, Oklahoma and supports all kinds of events with the main event being Oklahoma weddings. Families and friends from all around Oklahoma (and I’m sure the surrounding states) gather here to see their loved ones united while surrounded with lovely country scenery such as Deer Creek running down in the canyon, a small pond with enormous stacked red rocks around it, and plenty of greenery for the perfect golden light photos. I gained the opportunity to photograph this wedding by second shooting for Caitlin Elizabeth Photography (another western Oklahoma based photographer—she is located close to Lawton and also photographs many of the adventurous Oklahoma areas that I have been blessed to photograph). This classy country wedding had subtle golds, greens, and reds paired with dark blacks and blue jeans. These two wed under the old oak tree that is at least 100 years old, if not over that, that shades one of the outdoor ceremony areas. They shared a tying of the cords during their ceremony which ended with a kiss. The venue had a beautiful set up of tables inside & outdoors for guests to eat & drink at while socializing. There was plenty of room for dancing in the middle of the tables as well as a stage with easy access for all necessary announcements and speeches. This venue has so many options that I think it would be hard to choose between them! Check out photos of this stunning Oklahoma bride & groom as well as outstanding venue below!
